I am (a PUES community member/local artist/etc), a space where revolutionary native, brown and Black people come to create. Not only are shows, fundraisers and workshops hosted there, but important liberatory conversation and action goes down there. In a city being swallowed by gentrification and massive land grabs, how is Casa Maria going to take away a space built to fight against this?

I’m emailing because PUES matters a lot to us and we need you to take this conflict out of the hands of a punitive court system and support this land reclamation project. The collective has always and will always put people over profit, something people thought Casa Maria also believed in.

Drop the court case on Dec 31st and settle these issues outside of the court system.
